ENERGY CONSUMPTION
We make every effort to reduce our energy consumption and increase the use of renewable energy.
There are over 860 solar panels mounted on the roof and walls of our production facility. We use EDP-certified wind power for our electricity needs.
In 2019, our production facility’s Co2 cooling plant was completed, thus reducing the facility’s energy consumption considerably. Both condensation heat and waste heat from the ventilation system are thoroughly recovered at the facility. The idea behind this is that all heat produced by cooling is primarily used for heating and water production. Heat is only released if it can no longer be used in the facility.
