Waste reduction and recycling are part of every employee's daily routine.

All waste produced at our production facility is sorted and immediately prepared for recycling. Cardboard, glass, plastic and metals as well as recyclable pallets, machines, and equipment are all recycled.

Dried fat waste from mayonnaise production and lettuce stumps and other vegetable waste are taken to a biogas plant, where the methane they produce is used to generate heat for the local district heating network. The material left over in the biogas reactor is an outstanding soil improver, which can be spread directly on local fields to benefit food production.

In 2019, the total amount of waste produced by the production facility amounted to 0,14 %.
